The range on this device leaves a little to be desired but it works as advertised. I will likely buy more for all of my non-bluetooth sound equipment.

This device works with line of sigth only, want room to room..? Forget about it! My Motorola S9 headset which is only battery powered picks up a bluetooth signal from my iphone everywhere in my condo and plays chrystal clear but this thing gives up and starts chopping and hopping with just a thin drywall in the way. Sound quality is nice though but whats the point when you have to be in the same room...

Works great with our Ipod touch. Nice to sit back and play and change songs. Would recommend to all who want to have a bluetooth device act as a remote for your AV system.

First of all, the picture is wrong. It shows the receiver connected to an audio cable and that's it. This lead me to believe that it must be battery powered, and therefore very portable. Unfortunately, it actually uses two cables, the second of which is attached to an AC to DC power supply. It has no battery and hence, does not work at all without being plugged into an electrical outlet. It is completely useless for taking into the car like I had planned. It's not even worth the effort to move it from my computer speakers to the sound system in the living room.
I believe there is also a very weak / badly designed power connection inside the receiver. Moving it at all while it is connected with your iPod almost always ends up breaking the Bluetooth connection.
On the positive side, it connects very easily and plays music with the same quality as if it was coming from iTunes on my computer. The audio lags every now and then when the iPod is doing memory intensive tasks, probably because it takes more resources to transmit the audio instead of just playing it directly from the device's speaker. This is an issue with the iPod, not the receiver, but still something that should be considered if you have a second generation device.
If you need to use this with multiple sound systems or somewhere without AC power, get something else.

Sound quality is AWESOME and has a decent enough range to work in a very large room with a clear path for the signal, or in a house it will work into the next room before cutting out. Also, it is A2DP compatible and sounds very nice with music playing from my Droid. No on or off buttons, it just turns on when you connect your bluetooth device.
